Perigo, is a traditional art
of speaking and singing in celebration of heroism among the people of Okrika
in the Eastern Niger Delta.
It is performed by the daughters of the warrior going round the various quarters of the community in the morning, well received by the grateful people.
Heroism is celebrated to inspire and awaken that heroism will not end in the land; to remind us that the son of the lion will not drink water
